Following Aly Goni, Abhishek Kumar, and Isha Malviya, Elvish's ex-girlfriend, Kriti Mehta, has also voiced her opinions and stood by Elvish Yadav.

Kriti took to her social media to share a story, where she not only supports Elvish but also condemns the media for their coverage and negative portrayal of Elvish's parents. In her post, she wrote, "If you knew how to report the news with respect, you wouldn't be sitting at 161st place. When will you find the courage to speak the truth? Speaking ill of someone's parents during such times. Can you even face yourself in the mirror? No matter how much you study, you won't even make it to the top 100 with this kind of attitude #shamelessmedia."

Elvish's former girlfriend, Kirti, has been in the limelight since Elvish revealed his feelings for someone outside the show. Rumours even circulated that she was approached for Bigg Boss 17, but nothing materialized. Elvish and Kirti have had an on-and-off controversy regarding their dating life on social media.
