From Shoaib Ibrahim, Dipika Kakar’s social media post on new vlog to celebs sharing past memories of Pahalgam, many netizens feel the behaviour of many has been tone-deaf after the recent terror attack. This is indeed one of the worst attacks on civilians in India in the history of the nation. Hindu men were literally segregated and shot dead. Eye witnesses said they forced them to take off their trousers, and recite Kalmas. Even IDs were checked to see if they are Hindus. The Indian Government has suspended all trade with Pakistan. Their citizens have been told to leave the country. Also, the I&B Ministry made it clear that Abir Gulaal won’t be released in India.
Karan Veer Mehra posted a poem on his social media account talking how deeply terrorism affects people. He said this division of people from the two nations is one of the saddest truths of our times. Dressed in a black kurta, he said the poem in a deep voice. While some liked his message for humanity, others felt it was not needed. The whole of India is in mourning for the deceased, which include three servicemen. Women who just got married saw their young husbands being gunned down in front of their eyes.

It is something that is worrying a lot of social observers. Elvish Yadav trolled him asking if he got votes from Pakistan in becoming the winner of BB 18.
We know that Elvish Yadav is a staunch Sanatani, and nationalist. After this incident, a lot of people are distancing themselves from anything remotely connected to Pakistan. However, fans reminded him that the Paani Karan Veer Mehra is talking about is a metaphor, and does not relate to the Indus Water Treaty.
