Elvish Yadav RESPONDS to backlash regarding his comments on Chum Darang: 'Mujhe negativity chahiye hi nahi..'

YouTuber Elvish Yadav recently made headlines for his controversial remarks about Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang. During a podcast conversation with Rajat Dalal, he mocked Chum and made comments that were deemed 'racist.' A video clip of these remarks quickly went viral, leading to significant backlash against him. In response to the social media outrage, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 has acknowledged the situation and revealed that he has removed that segment from his podcast.

Further, he added, “Second thing, kitne bewakoof log hain jinko ye samajh mein nahi aa raha. Wo log bol raha hain Elvish ne Covid bol diya, so Elvish is relating Chinese with Chum. Usmein maine bola tha, Karan Veer ko shayad Covid ho rakha tha jo uski taste, smell chali gayi, jo usko Chum pasand aa gayi. (Secondly, there are so many foolish people who don’t understand this. They are saying that Elvish mentioned Covid, so he is relating Chum to the Chinese. What I said was that Karan Veer had Covid, which is why he might have lost his taste and smell, and that’s why he liked Chum)."

He further urged people to watch the video carefully. “Main itna gaya guzra nahi hu ki kisi ko bolu ki tu ye hai, wo hai. Main in cheezon se bachta hu. Na mujhe kisise lena dena ki main kisi pe racist comment pass karu. (I am not so low that I would tell someone what they are or what they aren’t. I stay away from such things. I have no interest in making racist comments about anyone)."

He mentioned that he advises people to avoid such actions. He acknowledged, “The other thing that went wrong on my part is indeed wrong.” However, he added that he does not feel apologetic for the additional issues that people have fabricated themselves.
