Ekta to host a Success Party for Pavitra Rishta..

Ekta Kapoor, the Czarina of Indian Television was back with a bang the day she launched her new show on Zee TV, Pavitra Rishta.

Pavitra Rishta which gives a realistic picture of the struggles of a typical middle class Maharashtrian family has been one of the channel's popular shows in the prime time slot. And as the plot thickened, the ratings have soared higher and higher, so much so that it has emerged as the #2 show across all channels this week.

And to acknowledge the hard work that the entire unit has put up for the show, Ekta Kapoor has organized a Success Party on the 18th of December at the Hawaiian Shack.
   
According to our source, "Ekta Kapoor has called for a party on 18th, and everyone who has been associated with Pavitra Rishta from day one, starting from the unit members, to the actors will be present to celebrate the occasion. Adding to the happiness is the news of Pavitra Rishta emerging as the #2 show this week, with a rating of 5.7. We narrowly missed the #1 slot, as Balika Vadhu tops this week with an average TVR of 5.8. We have now tasted success, and will work towards becoming the #1 show".

We tried to get in touch with Ekta Kapoor, but she remained unavailable.

However, a source from the production house confirmed that Ekta is indeed upbeat, and is throwing a party for the entire unit of Pavitra Rishta on 18th December in Bandra, Mumbai.
