Ekta Tiwari to Join Barun Sobti in Voot’s Asura; Deets Inside!

Due to the growing demand for digital content, online entertainment industry is flourishing at a high pace. Content creators and artists from around the world are trying their hands in web series and other digital content. Earlier, there was only few OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime ruling the market. Now, various OTT platforms have come into the game.

As we already reported, Voot is coming up with a new web series titled Asura. The series will feature actors Barun Sobti and Arshad Warsi in lead roles. Now, the news coming in is that another actor is gearing up for joining the cast.

According to reports, actress Ekta Tiwari has been roped for a key role in the upcoming show. She will be essaying the role of a journalist. The show will also feature actors Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Sharib Hashmi, Gaurav Arora, Amey Wagh and Aditya Lal in crucial roles.

Ekta is known for playing the female lead in Tere Mere Sapne. She was also part of Star Plus’ popular drama Diya Aur Baati Hum.

About Asura, it is a psychological thriller, produced by Tanveer Bookwala’s Ding Entertainment and the makers are currently shooting for the climax sequence.
