He emphasized that he would prioritize the well-being of artists. Sobti is committed to ensuring reasonable working hours, a stark contrast to the demanding schedules often seen in the industry.
Barun Sobti, contemplating a future in production, outlined his vision for a balanced work environment. He expressed while talking to Pinkvilla, "I will think about life more but I would not make my people work a lot. I think it'll be like 8-hour shifts." Then he further stated,"I'll be a producer when I have a lot of money."
When asked about standard corporate hours, the actor affirmed his preference, stating he "won't mind." He emphasized the importance of work-life balance. "With respect to hours, less working hours, a good life for everyone. We work a lot, and all producers want us to work 12 hours and travel 2 hours."
Reflecting on the challenges faced by artists, Barun Sobti highlighted the hardships of demanding work environments, especially for those with limited financial resources. The actor concluded with a heartfelt aspiration: "I would like to make everyone's life simpler if at all sometime I become a producer."
In the same interview, Barun Sobti shared an update on Asur 3, revealing that the writing is complete. However, the shoot is yet to begin, indicating that the much-anticipated installment is still in the early stages of production.
Barun Sobti noted that Asur shifted his public image, highlighting his serious acting skills. He praised the show's writing and shared his initial reaction to being approached for the role, emphasizing its impact on his career. “It was a very well-written show. It was terrific. In fact, the first time I was approached, I was like mujhe kyun le rahe ho sir, achha likha hai (Why are you casting me),” said Sobti and chuckled.
Barun Sobti, famed for his role as Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, transitioned to OTT with Tanhaiyan.
His career expanded to include series like The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family, Asur, Badtameez Dil, Asur 2, Kohrra, and Raat Jawaan Hai. Upcoming projects feature Kohrra 2 and Ikatthe.
