Ekta Kapoor seeks divine intervention..

Ekta Kapoor recently made a visit to Tirupati to attain Lord Balaji’s blessings for her twin shows on NDTV Imagine, Bandini and Kitani Mohabbat Hai premiering at the 10 PM and 10.30 PM slots respectively from 19th January 2009.

According to our source, “Ekta carried with her the tapes of the two shows, and placed them at the feet of the God for blessings. Ekta is breaking away from the cult of conventional soaps for the first time ever with these shows, and has come up with two very impressive concepts for NDTV Imagine”.

“Bandini and Kitani look completely different from what Ekta has offered the viewers till now. We are looking forward to a very good response from audience”, explains our source.

However, before seeking divine intervention, Ekta had a word with Sunita Menon for naming her new shows.

According to our source, “Sunita had insisted that Ekta names her new shows with a ‘P’, ‘B’ or a ‘K’. And this the reason why Ekta chose the title ‘Bandini’ for her new NDTV Imagine show. She had a talk with the channel, and with their consent she went for this title”.

We really hope that Ekta tastes success with her new shows. Well, can we now expect Ekta’s next launch to begin with a ‘P’?
