Ekta Kapoor Opens Up About Facing Sexism to The Point of Being Constantly Bitched About!

Producer Ekta Kapoor who has enthralled the audience with her powerful and unique content has opened up on facing sexism in the industry. In a recent interview by Pinkvilla, Ekta reveals more about the rumors regarding her having temper issues on the sets. 

Ekta said that there has been a history of male producers, directors on the sets who abuse constantly and are constantly losing their temper. She mentioned that she used to be assertive and further revealed that she was presented like a freak of nature because of that.

On facing sexism, she said that I have been told by the people to use your dad, Jeetendra’s name for her company instead of her mom as he is more popular. She added that she faced sexism to the point that not taking instructions from a woman was almost mandate apart from being constantly bitched about.
