Shah Rukh Khan has been one of the most prominent actors in Bollywood for over two decades now. With his last film Pathaan breaking records at the box office, SRK has moved on to his next projects, including Dunki and Jawan. Dunki is one of the most anticipated films of the year, with SRK teaming up with a critically acclaimed director like Rajkumar Hirani.

The latest news about Dunki is that SRK is set to shoot a pivotal underwater sequence for the film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

According to reports, the upcoming sequence is expected to be an important one that will take the narrative of the film forward. However, it will not be an action sequence. The team is reportedly excited to film the underwater sequence, although the location for it has not been finalized yet.

The Dunki team is presently shooting in Kashmir, and SRK's pictures from the sets have gone viral on social media. The actor was given a warm welcome by fans in the valley, and was greeted with a bouquet of flowers. The team is set to wrap up the ongoing schedule in Kashmir soon, after which SRK will move on to shoot the underwater sequence.

Dunki is said to be a movie about immigration across borders, revolving around a Punjabi boy who moves to Canada. The movie also marks SRK's first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani, and Taapsee Pannu's first film with the actor. The movie is reportedly on track, with Rajkumar Hirani working on post-production simultaneously. It is set to hit theaters in December 2023.
