“Don’t try to be a khatron ke khiladi”: Rohit Shetty warns as he takes COVID-19 vaccine

Bollywood director Rohit Shetty has taken the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and announced the same on his social media in his very own heroic way. He received the jab at the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai and shared a bunch of pictures too.

Rohit Shetty wrote on Instagram, “Action and Stunts are for movies don’t try to be a khatron ke khiladi in real life, get vaccinated. It is the only way to fight COVID. Got myself vaccinated today. Thanks to the staff of Nanavati hospital, the procedure was very well organised.”

Besides Shetty, a number of Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Johnny Lever, Saif Ali Khan, Kamal Haasan, Johnny Lever, Satish Shah, among others, have also taken the vaccination shots.

Rohit Shetty is currently busy shooting for his upcoming entertainer ‘Cirkus’ starring Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film is the adaptation of William Shakespeare's play, The Comedy Of Errors, and the film is being scheduled for a 2021 winter release.

The filmmaker is also gearing for his anticipated film, Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The film was initially slated to release on 24 March 2020, but the release was postponed owing to the coronavirus scare. Last month, the team confirmed that Sooryavanshi will now be releasing on 30th April 2021 in cinemas only.
