Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi New Seasons Postponed, Not Cancelled? Check THIS

The future of two of India's most beloved reality shows, Salman Khan's Bigg Boss and Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi, is in limbo. While fans were eagerly anticipating new seasons, a recent development has cast doubt on their immediate return. Banijay Asia, the production company behind these shows, has pulled out of their collaboration with Colors TV. However, there's a silver lining: the shows are not being canceled, just postponed.

Colors Channel is currently seeking new producers after Banijay Asia's withdrawal. The hit reality shows will be delayed but not entirely scrapped.

Previously, Pinkvilla reported that internal conflicts within Banijay Asia led to Endemol's decision to withdraw from Colors TV. These conflicts arose two months ago, and the decision to withdraw was made just two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, casting for the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi was already underway, with several contestants confirmed to participate.

The news of the production change sparked a wave of speculation, particularly among those who had already been chosen to compete. Several stars, including Orry, Isha Malviya, Munawar Faruqui, Khushboo Patani (Disha Patani's sister), and boxer Neeraj Goyat, had reportedly signed contracts and were set to jet off to an international location for filming next month. The news also caught the attention of potential Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chaahat Pandey, who reacted publicly to the rumors of the show's cancellation. While engaged in a conversation with the paparazzi, she said, "Mujhe nahi pata, iss baare mein mujhe koi bhi khabar nahi hai." (I don't know, I don't have any news about this).

She further told Viral Bhayani, "I don't think Bigg Boss kabhi bandh hoga, mujhe nahi lagta. Jo bhi chal raha hai sab sort out hojayega." (I don't think Bigg Boss will ever get shut. Whatever issues are there will be sorted out).
