Will actress Divyanka Tripathi continues to be a part of Ye Hai Mohabbatein after the leap?

The story of "Ye Hai Mohabbatein" may be heading towards a forward leap, and what remains uncertain is whether actress Divyanka Tripathi continues to be a part of the show.

The actress might bid adieu to the TV show as her character Ishita will be shown suffering from cancer and the serial will take a plunge towards future on that note, leaving her track's future in suspense, read a statement.

In the Star Plus show, Divyanka plays role of a South Indian girl, named Ishita, married to a Punjabi man Raman Bhalla (played by Karan Patel) for his daughter Ruhi.

"Ishita will be detected with cancer all of a sudden. The family will be shocked with the discovery. Her track might end, though she will not be shown dying. The cancer track will be wiping into a leap," said a source.

It is also reported that the lead pair of the show will shoot some intimate scene and the source added that "Raman and Ishita will consummate their relationship before Ishita is detected with cancer".

What is the point of DT staying if her character is being written off to cancer? Please don't tell me she's supposed to survive that and return - what's the point? End the show w/ Raman being happily unitied w/ Shagun, DT being shown in shradh memorabilia and pull the plug right there

If DT quits...I too quit the show!!! First and foremost I'm totally against the Leap and Ishra separation track and that pathetic track of Sharam & Ishbu!!! That could be the most ridiculous track ever shown on television. The whole journey of Ishra's life in the since last 1.5 yrs would be wiped out and to top it all if Divyanka doesn't play the role of Ishita then this serial is duped forever!! There can be no ISHRA without DIVAN!!! Though I believe this is hoax message but would still love to give my 2 cents
