Leaving the mainstream Bollywood movies aside for a moment lets appreciate some of the masterpieces delivered by Indian filmmakers. While the artistic movies don't get much limelight in Bollywood but these movies totally blow up the critics and the few audiences who prefer art over the masala.
Talking about such movies here's bringing you the list of disturbing Bollywood scenes which created tension on-screen with just a few words spoken.
Take a look at the list:
The dark thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal in the lead. One of the many disturbing scenes in this film is when Ramanna(Nawaz) visits his sister(Amruta Subhash) and tries to harass her family members including her husband and her kid. And then his sister insists him for something which none of us expected. You must know it if you've seen the film. This scene is one of the most disturbing scenes in Bollywood but it did justice to the real life of Raman Raghav and we salute Anurag and the actors for this.
Vishal Bharadwaj's Haider which was based on Hamlet featured Shahid Kapoor, Tabu and Kay Kay Menon. A scene in which Haider's mother played by Tabu decides to marry her late husband's little brother (Kay Kay Menon). In a scene where Tabu is seating in front of a mirror and Haider has a little chat with her hinting about her love affair. And in these scenes, we know something is really wrong as everything has been said without many words and lots of expressions. Haider is truly a masterpiece and it proves only Vishal Bharadwaj can make perfect movies based on Shakespeare's written works.
Sriram Raghavan is well known for his best thrillers whether it is Johnny Gaddar, Badlapur or the recent one Andhadhun. However, in Badlapur when Raghu( Varun Dhawan) is hunting for his wife and kid's murderers and he founds one of the murderers Harman (Vinay Pathak). He visits him at his place and the scene here between Raghu and Koko i.e Harman's wife played by Radhika Apte is really brave one and we applaud the actors and director to present it in a most thrilling way.
And that was the list, share your views and suggest any disturbing scenes you feel we missed off.
