Disney-Pixar's short movie to be screened at MAMI

US film production studio Disney-Pixar's short movie "Sanjay's Super Team", which presents Hindu gods as superheroes, will be screened at the 17th edition of the prestigious Jio Mumbai Film Festival here.

"Sanjay's Super Team" will be released along with "The Good Dinosaur" on December 4 in India. But now, the audience in the country will have a chance to watch the film almost a month prior to its theatrical release, read a statement.

The short will be showcased at the film festival, organised by Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI), on Saturday.

Directed by Sanjay Patel, "Sanjay's Super Team" is his personal story and a "mostly true" chronicle of his journey to understand the Hindu world that is important to his parents.
