Disha Patani's hard core practice for Bharat landed her in trouble

Disha Patani who is all set for the release of her upcoming film with superstar Salman Khan went under intense preparations physically on acing her trapeze artist act despite injury.

The actress shared, "As part of my prep, I had already learnt different kinds of skills like front and back flips. However, I hurt my knee just days before the shoot. I was doing a front salto [a flipping skill which includes a front or back tuck] during my rehearsal when I mistimed my landing and injured my knee. I was advised bed rest for the next few days and underwent deep tissue massages for relief. Luckily, I recovered [in time] for the shoot."

Ahead of the shoot in July, Disha's to-do list included perfecting the different trapeze acts including swinging and spinning since the actress would share the frame with European circus artists in the sequences. Disha learnt the art under the sharp supervision of action trainer and parkour expert, Nadeem Akhtar. "He devised a particular workout, that included gymnastics, to help me become agile," added the actress. 

The fans are eagerly waiting to see Disha and Salman Khan's romance on-screen as it is a new and interesting pairing to watch in the tinsel town.

Popular amongst the brands, the actress has emerged as the youngest brand ambassador for many brands and also, the first Indian face for the International brands.

The fitness icon has been treating her fans with her bodacious dance moves and intense acrobatic stunts with a range of sneak peeks from her routine.

Disha has been soaring the temperature high on social media by posting her pictures and sending the fans into a frenzy.

After the back to back success of M.S. Dhoni -An Untold Story and Baaghi 2, which raked more than 100 crores at the box office, Disha Patani will be seen next in Bharat along with Salman Khan, followed by Mohit Suri's Malang.
