Different shades of Fathers on-screen!

Manish Wadhwa who plays Niranjan in Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir is cruel and mean father in the show. Though he loves his children Shlok (Avinash Sachdev) and Varad a lot but he torchers his wife Anjali (Geetanjali Tikekar) as her to listen and agree to his principles. In the similar he wants her to be strict with Aastha (Shrenu Parikh) who is the youngest daughter in law of the house. He is a double faced person as he is harsh with his wife and sweet and docile in front of his children. He brutally assaults Anjali.

Rajeev Singh who plays Suket in Zee TV's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya is a conservative father. In the show he plays the character of Suket who belongs to a very traditional and orthodox family and so he has instilled the same values in his children Akshat (Waseem Mushtaq), Avni (Kanchi Singh) and Abhaas (Parichay Sharma). Being a successful businessman he is down to earth when it comes to showering his love on the kids. He is a strict father. Suket has imbibed his father's values ethically and preaches his children to follow the same path.

Sanjeev Seth who plays the role of Vishambharnath in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a caring and down to earth father. He understands the matter of his children and solves them very patiently. Vishambhar also belongs to a traditional family but makes sure that he equally gives attention to his kids Akshara (Hina Khan) and Shaurya (Yash Gera). He is very firm with his son Shaurya but is lenient with his daughter Akshara. Behind his authoritative aura he is a very emotional person.

Ashok Lokhande who plays the role of bhabasa in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum is a fun loving father. He always cares for the family and is opposite in nature from Bhabo (Neelu Vaghela) who is shown as a strict mother in law. He always takes side of his daughter in law Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and son Sooraj (Anas Rashid). He keeps the Rathi family's atmosphere cool. Hee keeps on cracking jokes and is very sweet by nature.

Suraj Thappar who plays Suresh Modi in Sony TV's Ek Nayi Pehchaan is a deceiver who cheats on his wife. He is a double faced person and underestimates Sharda (Poonam Dhillon). The recent entry of Pallavi (Padmini Kolhapure) clearly shows that there is some relation between she and Suresh which projects this father's image in a bad light.

Gaurav Chopra who plays Rathore in Colors' Uttaran as a loving and caring father. He is too concerned for his daughter Mukta. He is over protective father and wants to keep his daughter happy. When this father comes to know that her daughter Mukta is in danger he runs to save her. In recent episode Yuhaan (Bharat Kumar) was about to rape Mukta (Sreejita De) but Mr. Rathore came to her rescue.

Ayub Khan who plays Rajnath Goenka in Star Plus' Ek Hasina Thi as a spoiled, rich father who enjoys extra marital affair with Sakshi's (Simone Singh) best friend Raima (Kishwer Merchantt). He covers up his son Shaurya's (Vatsal Sheth) misdeeds. His son Shaurya does all the wrong things and the father proudly supports him.

Naved Aslam who plays Usman in Colors' Beintehaa as a rich and disciplined father. He supports Aaliya (Preetika Rao). He is  a caring father in law and treats Aaliya as his daughter. He is very understanding and sorted person who doesn't get angry on his children but makes him understand.

Mohit Dagga who plays the role of Vithal in Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan as a pampered father. He is protective for his daughter Kalpana (Rachana Parulkar), he always takes side of his wife Kamla (Shilpa Shirodkar) and daughter.
