Did you know that Samridhii Shukla, the talented actress currently captivating audiences as Abhira in Star Plus' hit series 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,' also boasts an impressive career as a voice-over artist? Her seamless portrayal of Abhira, coupled with her chemistry alongside co-star Shehzada Dhami, has earned her widespread acclaim.Before making her mark in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,' Samridhii showcased her acting prowess in Colors TV's 'Saavi Ki Savaari.' However, her journey into the entertainment industry began in the realm of voice-over artistry. In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Samridhii shared her transition from voice-over work to acting.

Samridhii revealed how she stepped into the world of entertainment from being a voice over artist. Talking to us about the same, Samridhii said, ''So, there is a funny story here indeed. Because of my voice work I would visit production houses often. And whenever people would see me, they'd ask me if i am an actor and I would tell them that I am a voice over artist and not an actor. But I think it was always destined to be an actor. I started auditioning and then much later in life my father pushed me to pursue the profession too. I realised that maybe looking at my face, people thought that I was cut out to be an actor and this is how the process started.''

When asked about her notable voice-over projects, Samridhii disclosed her involvement in dubbing for Alia Bhatt and said, ''I still work as a voice over artist. The last I did was a popular film which released in September. I have also dubbed for Alia Bhatt for Brahmastra's disney version in English and that was released world wide. So these were the two popular projects I lent my voice too.''
