Did You Know Ekta Kapoor Convinced channel of Sushant Singh Rajput being the right choice to play Manav

Zee TV's popular show Pavitra Rishta today completed 11 years. The show that was based on the lives of middle-class Maharashtrian families starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande in the lead. The show was loved amongst the viewers and Sushant & Ankita became the household names. Sushant Singh Rajput who rose to fame as Manav in the show was rejected by the channel and Producer Ekta Kapoor had to convince them that he is the right choice to play Manav. 

Ekta Kapoor shared a video of how Archana and Manav fell in love and also narrated how she had to convince the channel. She stated that it was because of Sushant Singh Rajput's smile that he could portray Manav's simplicity.
