Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is an avid social media user usually entertains his fans with fashion, quirky videos and more. But today seems a little unusual as Kjo took to his Instagram stories to share a series of posts talking about how airports have become press conferences and runways.

The statement made by him highlights the evolving nature of airports in contemporary times.

According to Johar, airports have transformed into more than just travel hubs. They have become a space for press conferences, where celebrities are often seen making public appearances, interacting with the media, and posing for the paparazzi. In addition, airports have also become a platform for fashion displays.

In one of his posts, Karan wrote, ‘The airport is a runway ... it's also a press conference .... Next it may be a trailer launch venue! ( I subscribe to it all... no complaints ...but maybe nice to also catch a flight once in a while ....)’

In another one added, ‘Further Jet lag musings.... I am obsessed with make up tutorials ( just watching them on reels makes my soul happy) They put the whole dukaan (shop) on a brides face ... but the end results are invariably OTT but still stunning (before/after comparisons) ....and I love the hacks! #iykyk(sic).’

Karan also wrote, "I am taking woke tutorials every morning! It's like a new age riyaaz for personality change! My plus size body needs self love ! The last time I looked at it ... I only had 3 alphabets in my head !!! MRF. People getting dressed in their ethnic attire's over the song Ravi is my current obsession!!! Will try making one without looking like I may have lost the plot.

On the work front, Karan Johar is awaiting the release of his next directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. It will release on July 28, 2023.
