Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh's look leaked from sets; netizens reminded of Animal, Khilji from Padmaavat - WATCH

Ranveer Singh is back to work with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. The movie is directed by Uri: The Surgical Strike maker Aditya Dhar. Dhurandhar is an ensemble film with some great actors like Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal. Ranveer Singh has beefed up for the role. It is supposed to be a drama with loads of action. In some of the leaked clips, we can see Ranveer Singh dressed in a khaki coloured Pathani suit and he has long hair. He is playing a Sikh character in the movie as per reports. Ranveer Singh’s open hair look is a lot like Khilji from Padmaavat.

A lot of netizens in the tweets have said it reminds them of Animal. Well, we can understand why. In Animal, we saw Ranbir Kapoor in a suit and even Ranveer looks sharply dressed here. On the other hand, he is looking all rough and rugged in his Pathani look. Ranbir Kapoor’s fight in the lungi and kurta was one of the most iconic sequences of Animal. The look is also a bit similar to the menacing Khilji from Padmaavat. It remains his best performance till date. Fans have given Dhurandhar a thumbs up seeing these clips.

In the film, he is playing the role of top spy Ajit Doval. We will see the character get into enemy territory to gain every bit of information that can prevent a national crisis. He wants to be known as James Bond Of India. Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar had been planning to collaborate for a long time. He was supposed to do Brahmarakshas with Prasanth Varma who made Hanu-Man. But the project fell through due to creative differences. There were many rumours about the high-handedness of the star’s team that upset the producers.
