Dharmendra Turns 85; Opens Up on Rituals For The Day & 'Apne 2'

The legend that actor Dharmendra is in the Indian film industry, he has now gone on to co,,plete 85 years of age where he celebrates his birthday today. Even at this age, not only does the actor look fit and radiant but he also believes he stopped ageing after 60 in one way.

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, the man opened up on his birthday plans, the on-going farmer's protests and upcoming film, Apne 2.

Talking about his love for cinema, he said, “Camera is my love and the camera loves me. I can self-analyse and I know what I am capable of at this point in my life.” He further added on seemingly having stopped ageing after 60 and how he has lived his life to the fullest and it is in fact his life that has kept him young.

Interestingly, he isn't even playing an aged character in Apne 2. Shifting gears, talking about the on-going farmers protest, he said, The government must listen to what farmers want to say once. They are sitting on the streets for so many days in cold temperatures. A mutual dialogue can solve the issue.”

Finally, talking about Apne 2 where apart from the three usual Deols, grandson Karan Deol also joins the cast, he said that it is a great feeling that he will able to share screen space with his grandson in a film. He also mentioned that Karan is a good actor and claimed he will essay the character well in the film.
