Dhanashree Verma’s FIRST POST after divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal goes viral; 'Dekha Ji…'

Dhanashree Verma has posted on Instagram for the first time since her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was finalized by the Bombay High Court. She's been facing a lot of online hate for months after rumors of their separation surfaced, with people accusing her of demanding a huge alimony settlement, which her family has denied.

In her first post since the divorce, Dhanashree is promoting her new song, "Dekha Ji Dekha Maine." The song is about infidelity and features Ishwak Singh as her on-screen husband who cheats on her.

Yuzvendra Chahal left the court after the divorce was finalized wearing a black T-shirt that read "be your own sugar daddy." He didn't respond to the paparazzi's questions about his reaction. People on social media were quick to comment on his choice of shirt, with one person writing, "He literally wore tshirt saying, ‘Be your own Sugar Daddy’," and another saying, "The word on his T shirt says alll."

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma were married in December 2020 but separated in June 2022. They filed for divorce by mutual consent in February 2023.

The High Court granted their divorce after determining that they had been living apart for over two and a half years and that they had reached an agreement on alimony during mediation.

The family court had initially denied their request to waive the mandatory cooling-off period because they felt that Chahal had only partially complied with the agreement, which required him to pay Dhanashree Rs 4.75 crore.

Dhanashree Verma, a 28-year-old dancer known for her fusion performances that blend traditional Indian dance with contemporary styles, is a popular figure.

Yuzvendra Chahal was seen at the Champions Trophy Final sitting next to social media personality RJ Mahvash. This isn't the first time the two have been seen together, sparking rumors of a connection.
