Dhanashree Verma Snaps at Paps; ‘What Is This Behavior?’ Outside Bandra Court Amid Divorce Proceedings

Dhanashree Verma and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal have officially parted ways. A short while ago, Chahal’s lawyer confirmed that their marriage has been legally dissolved. Meanwhile, a video of Dhanashree reacting angrily to the paparazzi outside the Bandra family court has been making rounds on the internet.

On March 20, 2025, Dhanashree arrived at the court for the final divorce hearing with Chahal. As soon as she stepped out of her car, she was surrounded by paps eager to capture her reaction. In the rush, a woman lost her balance and fell to the ground, causing chaos outside the court premises.

Visibly frustrated by the commotion, Dhanashree confronted the shutterbugs and scolded them, saying, “Kya kar rahe ho aap? What is this behavior?” She also paused to check on the woman before walking away quickly towards the court.

Dhanashree and Chahal tied the knot in 2020 in a beautiful wedding after their romance flourished during the COVID-19 lockdown. However, trouble started brewing in their marriage, and by June 2022, they had begun living separately.

In February this year, the couple officially filed for divorce, citing compatibility issues. Given Chahal’s commitment to the upcoming Indian Premier League 2025, scheduled to begin on March 22, the Bandra High Court directed the family court to expedite the proceedings. As per the directive, their divorce hearing was set for today, March 20.

Shortly after the court session, Chahal’s lawyer confirmed, “Divorce has been done, marriage is dissolved.” However, he refrained from commenting on alimony details. Reports suggest that Chahal has agreed to pay a total of ?4.75 crore as permanent alimony. So far, he has already transferred ?2.37 crore and ?55,000, while the remaining amount will be settled following the official decree.

The divorce has been finalized just days before the IPL 2025, marking the end of their much-discussed relationship.
