However, instead of responding, she simply raised her hand, signaling that she did not want to talk about it. She then smiled and told the paps, "Gaana suno pehle," referring to her newly released music video, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine.

The song has caught public attention due to its storyline, which revolves around themes of domestic violence and infidelity. In the video, Dhanashree portrays a royal woman stuck in a toxic marriage, enduring emotional and physical abuse. Reports suggest they had been living separately for nearly two years before making their legal separation official. The Bandra Family Court granted the divorce, and as per reports from Bar and Bench, Chahal has been directed to pay ?4.75 crore as alimony to Dhanashree.
