Defamation case worth 15 Crores filed against Sussanne Khan!

Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussanne Khan has been slammed with a defamation case against her worth Rs. 15cr by Mudith Gupta, Managing Partner of Emgee Properties (A real estate firm) for allegedly making defamatory statements against him.

Mr. Gupta's lawyer informed a leading news agency that the suit was filed against Khan in the Senior Civil Division Court in Goa. The hearing will take place on July 20th.

Emgee Properties had earlier filed a FIR with Goa Police for fraud of Rs. 1.87 Cr. against Sussanne as well. She had challenged the FIR in the Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court. She had been booked under section 420 for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property of Indian Penal Code.

Gupta's lawyer further informed, "Khan has issued statements through media that Gupta is trying to bully her. He is trying to pressurise her being a single mother. She has also said that the firm wanted to take some cheap architect."

"Such statements have forced us to file a defamation suit against her to the tune of Rs. 15 crore before Senior Civil Court in Panaji." Mudith Gupta's lawyer concluded.

Irrespective of all this Sussanne still says that they are just trying to pressurise her nothing else.
