Recently, Ranveer Singh had been a guest along with Ranbir Kapoor at Karan Johar's chat show, 'Koffee with Karan'. There during a rapid fire round, he had said that he would marry Deepika Padukone because he felt that she is a "marriage material".

Now, during a media interaction, Deepika's father, Mr. Prakash Padukone was asked about Ranveer's statement for his daughter.

Although, he opened up on the subject, he gave a diplomatic answer. He said that both Ranveer and Deepika are adults and know what they are doing. He further added that as a father, he has given Deepika the freedom to take her own decisions and even in this case, she was free to decide whatever she wanted to do.

"They are adults and know what they are doing. As father, I have given Deepika the freedom to take her own decisions. Even in this case, she is free to decide whatever she wants to do," said former badminton star. (sic)
