Deepika Singh opens up on being Body Shamed post son's birth!

Deepika Singh who gained massive popularity owing to her performance in the show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' has enthralled the viewers with shows like Kavach... MahaShivratri amongst others. The Actress got into a conversation with a leading news daily where she opened up on getting body shamed after giving birth to her son. 

Speaking to ETimes TV, Deepika shared that she have been trolled a lot on social media especially for her weight gain. The Actress said that after giving birth to her son Soham, she was 73 kgs and had randomly shared a picture of her without thinking much. She added that it was her birthday but they started writing nasty stuff about her.

However, the Actress further stated that she took all these negative comments very seriously and that actually helped her to go to the gym regularly. The Actress also took screenshots of those comments and kept them as a wallpaper on her phone and whenever she felt lazy, these nasty comments helped her to hit the gym. Deepika mentioned that she did a lot of cardio and cycling and started enjoying workout and watching her diet as well. She said, "Ultimately, I proved them (the trolls) wrong."
