Deepika reveals why her relationship with Ranveer lasted long; Says Ranbir is very spontaneous

Deepika Padukone is undeniably the star in the spotlight. After she recently sizzled on the cover of a leading magazine, then put out her closet on sale on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, threw a wrap up party for her team and cast of ‘83 and now made an appearance at the 21st edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival, held on October 13, 2019.

Deepika, who was also the Chairperson of the MAMI Annual International Film Festival, graced the event in a stunning black-and-blue polka dot dress. Besides films, the actress spoke about her relationship with her two most loved co stars-Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

At the film festival, Deepika went on to reveal how the working pattern of her husband Ranveer highly differs from that of her ex-flame and co-star Ranbir Kapoor. 

Ranbir and Deepika’s pairing has been one of the most loved ones by the audience, and the duo has shared screen space in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Tamasha and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which again was a massive hit. Talking of her co-star, DP states that the Sanju actor is spontaneous just like her.

“Ranbir doesn’t really have a process; he is very spontaneous. I have never really seen him ‘prepare’ for his role as such. He’s like me in that respect. Our approach is 50% rehearsed and 50% spontaneous,” Deepika said.

On the other hand, Deepika shares sensual and scintillating chemistry with her husband Ranveer Singh on screen. The lovely couple has worked in films like Bajirao Mastaani, Ram Leela and Padmaavat together, and will also be seen as reel life husband-wife in Kabir Khan’s ‘83 the film.

Deepika reveals that Ranveer is different when it comes to his acting pattern. He changes everything, which makes him a new person every six months. “Ranveer, on the other hand, really gets into the process. He changes everything for the role – right from the car he drives, to the clothes and the perfume he wears. He’s a different person every six months, which is probably one of the reasons why our relationship has lasted so long; I never get bored,” Deepika revealed at the film festival.

Besides ‘83, Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak alongside Vikrant Massey. Based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, the film is set to hit screens on January 10, 2020.
