Deepika Padukone has praised Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh for their remarkable achievements on the global stage. Manu secured a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the 2024 Olympics on Tuesday, July 30. She teamed up with Sarabjot Singh in the bronze medal playoff match.
Deepika Padukone hopped onto her Instagram stories and posted a snap of Manu and Sarabjot. In the picture, Manu proudly displayed her medal, while Sarabjot was captured waving. Although Deepika didn't caption it, her act of sharing the image clearly shows her support for Indian athletes and her pride in their victory.

On Tuesday, Anil Kapoor also took to his Instagram Stories to celebrate the duo's victory and penned a post about it,“@bhakermanu @sarabjotsingh30 Another win for India!! Congratulations!!" Bhumi Pednekar also cheered for Manu and Sarabjot by saying, “Chak De!"
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh. The couple announced their pregnancy back in February this year. Recent reports suggest that Deepika has decided not to return to work anytime soon. Allegedly, the actress aims to be a hands-on mother and has declined an offer for the third season of The White Lotus. Sources claim that Deepika intends to dedicate her time to impending motherhood and is refraining from taking on any new projects.
