Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor root for PM Modi's message on women empowerment

Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan supported PM Narendra Modi’s message on women empowerment as he talked about increasing the participation of women in various fields. The PM also lauded women on how they are proving their mettle on Mann ki Baat programme.

On Sunday evening Kareena and Deepika took to their social media handle to praise women as they emphasized that today, women of the nation are fearless and have equal participation in nation-building.

Sharing Gandhiji’s quote in her Tweet, the Chhapaak actress retweeted excerpts from the PM's address on female empowerment and added her own thoughts to it.

On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor also shared a post as she wrote, "From flying non-stop commercial flights to taking part in Republic Day parades, women's participation is increasing manifold. Desh ki Beti today is fearless, courageous and an equal participant in nation-building activities." She added, "#WomenSupportingWomen #MannKiBaat #PMOINDIA"

In his 73rd episode, PM Modi addressed the Mann ki Baat programme which the first episode of the year 2021.  

The 14th Prime Minister of India hailed various departments and discussed many important events in the country. PM Modi also highlighted the increasing participation of the country's women in different fields.
