#CONGRATULATIONS: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Parul Chauhan aka Suwarna all set to get married!

Yeh Rishta' is all set to turn into a lifetime commitment for Parul Chauhan, who is currently seen playing Suwarna in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Congratulations are in order for Parul, as she is all set to tie the knot with her actor beau Chirag Thakkar. The duo who has been together for three years now, will get married on December 12, in a court marriage in Mumbai.

The couple will then head to Parul's hometown in Uttar Pradesh for a small reception, followed by another in Mumbai soon after.

Speaking on the same with Bombay Times, Parul mentioned that her friends and family have always wanted to see her settle down and that it is finally happening. She also recalled that she and Chirag were introduced 3 years back through a common friend.

She was quoted as saying that there was no official dating period or a proposal between them and that things were finalised last year when her parents met Chirag's parents at a family pooja.

She also revealed that it was only her Bidaai... and Yeh Rishta... producer Rajan Shahi who knew about her alliance and that she seeked him out to get his blessings.

Ironically, Parul and Chirag's wedding date coincides with that of Additi Gupta and fiance Kabir Chopra's, who will tie the knot on the same day, but in Sri Lanka.
