Congratulations: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai completes 6 years!

It's time to celebrate and rejoice the moment for the entire team of Rajan Shahi's much loved show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that airs on Star Plus.

The show has completed the successful journey of 6 years today and the entire team of the show will cut a cake in the evening on the sets to celebrate this achievement.

A simple and a cute journey of two people Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra) had hit the screens 6 years ago. Destiny binds Akshara and Naitik together in a bond and from there they commence a new journey holding each other's hand. Their story touched the heart of many viewers and the show successfully maintained a good position on the TRP chart. Without any negative character and with many short and long term leaps happening in the show, the storyline of the show witnessed many ups and downs grabbing the attention of the audience. Now, after completing 6 successful years, the show still holds a special place in the hearts of its audience and is all set to bring forth another exciting track ahead.  

When contacted Hina, she said, "It's been a great journey so far and I am expecting another six years and the whole credit goes to the fans only."

We also buzzed producer Rajan Shahi and actor Karan Mehra but they remained unavailable to comment.
