The team of Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is elated and rejoicing the glorious moment as it has completed the journey of 1700 episodes. The show is still being loved and watched for the family traditions and cultural values showcased in the tale.

When contacted the producer Rajan Shahi, he said, "It has been a very enriching journey and the full team including cast, crew and unit together is all charged and motivated to take it forward and on behalf of the entire team, I want to thank the fans and well-wishers for their support and encouragement."
