Confirmed: 3rd Installment of Munna Bhai to hit the floors in 2017

Everyone thought that they would never be able to watch Munna Bhai again on the big screen as the third installment of the film was stalled.

But wait, here is the good news, the third installment will surely see the light of the day and this has been confirmed by none other than Sanju Baba a.k.a Munna Bhai himself.

Recently at a private get together hosted by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Baba' confirmed the news. The actor who got released from jail on the grounds of 'good behaviour' spoke to the media and said, "Munna Bhai banne wali hai. Who toh hone hi wala hai". [sic]

Everyone cheered for the actor after hearing this!

Post the release of the film's trailer a few years ago the filming process stopped. Later director Raju Hirani got busy with his other projects and hence Vidhu Vinod Chopra got director Subhash Kapoor on board but it was also a failure.

Now it seems it will be directed by Hirani himself as soon as the director wraps up Sanjay Dutt's biopic with Ranbir Kapoor in lead.

Munna Bhai 3 is likely to go on floors in 2016.
