CINTAA resolves the issue between Maleeka R Ghai and Trilogy Media!

The issue between the actress Maleeka R Ghai and the production house Trilogy Media Pvt Ltd. has been resolved now.

Actress Maleeka R Ghai, had been roped in for a nice character on Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd's show 'Lajwanti' (Zee TV) but unfortunately she met with an accident on the very first day of her shoot. She had to undergo a surgery and hence, she had to opt out of the show. She asked the production house to pay for her medical expenses, which they refused to pay.

This issue was further taken to CINTAA (Cine & Television artistes' association) and now we hear that the issue has been resolved and Maleeka R Ghai has got some amount of her medical expenses.

When we contacted Maleeka to know more about it, she said, “Yes, the issue has been resolved now. Finally, CINTAA forwarded the whole case to the FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees). They had meetings with both the parties and they spoke to me and understood the whole issue and they supported me. I would like to thank Mr. Dilip Pithwa, Mr. Sushant Singh and Amit Behl for their support. These people really supported me and I got some amount, which is really helping me right now as I have been out of work from past few months. I would also like to thank the producers Illa Bedi and Rajat Bedi for their support. I was really excited and keen to work for 'Lajwanti' but it was really unfortunate that it ended this way."

"Even producer JD Majethia has been very supportive throughout, even though he is associated with the producers association. He told me that if I required any help for getting my dues, he will surely help me out without getting biased, which he did."
