CID fame Vaishnavi Dhanraj calls for 'help'

Vaishnavi Dhanraj, renowned for her roles in series like Bepannah, CID, and Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, appears to be facing challenging circumstances. The actress took to her Instagram story seeking help, where, against a plain black background, she wrote 'Help.'

Meanwhile, a distressing video of Vaishnavi is surfacing on social media, where she reveals her ordeal at the Kashimira (Mira Road) police station. In the footage, Vaishnavi discloses being at the Kashimira police station, expressing a desperate need for help. She recounts being subjected to abuse by her family, urging support from the media, news channels, and the industry at large. The video depicts visible injury marks on Vaishnavi's face and body, including a bruised lip and an injury on her right hand's wrist.

In the video, she said, "Hi, this is Vaishnavi Dhanraj. I really need help right now. I'm in Kashimira police station and I've been abused by my family. I have been hit really badly. Please I need everybody's help right from the media, news channels, and everybody in the industry. Please come and help me." 

Married to actor Nitin Sherawat in 2016, Vaishnavi unveiled the reasons behind her divorce in an interview with Spotboye.com, citing recurring incidents of domestic violence. Despite attempts to salvage the marriage by seeking professional help for Nitin, the situation deteriorated.

In a desperate move, Vaishnavi fled from the house and eventually divorced Nitin. Recalling a harrowing experience, she stated that he probably wouldn't have taken her life, but the fear was so overwhelming that she ran away. The severity of the beatings left her leg bleeding. That marked the conclusive end of her role as his wife—emotionally, physically, and mentally. Eventually, a divorce was sought.
