Megastar Chiranjeevi has not shelved his highly-anticipated 150th film. He has in fact, shifted all his focus on the project, which is expected to go on floors later this year, a source said.

A film tentatively titled "Auto Johnny" was announced as Chiranjeevi's 150th film a few months ago. It was to be directed by Puri Jagannadh.

"It's not true that Chiranjeevi sir has ditched the project. He didn't like the second half of the film that was announced with director Puri Jagannadh; hence it has been put on hold. But he's listening to few scripts now and is likely to zero in on a project soon," a source close to the actor told IANS.

Among a few directors who are likely to team up with Chiranjeevi, "Tagore" fame V.V. Vinayak is the front-runner.

"It's true that Vinayak met Chiranjeevi sir recently. It was just a courtesy meeting in which they discussed a story idea as well. They've been in touch since then but since Vinayak is busy with a film with Akhil, it might take a while," he said.

Chiranjeevi's actor-son Ram Charan will be producing this project.

The source also confirmed that there won't any special announcement regarding the 150th project on Chiranjeevi's 60th birthday on Saturday.
