Censor Board hits Shah Rukh Khan's FAN, asked to chop off 7 Scenes

The Censor Board has asked the team of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film "FAN" to chop off 7 Scenes from the film...

Censor Board and its blunt chopping is something we are all aware of. In the past, many makers have expressed their annoyance over unwanted cuts from their film. But, its seems this isn't the case with SRK's "FAN" that's all set to hit the silver screens on the 15th of April, 2016.

"FAN" has recently been under CBFC's (Central Board of Film Certification) scanner and the Board has asked the makers to delete 7 Scenes!

However, unlike others who revolt against the censor; the makers of "Fan" are all smiles and have readily accepted the orders and chopped of the required sequences.

A close source informed a leading daily, "The scene of prolonged violence in lock-up where one Shah Rukh Khan urges the cops to beat up the other Shah Rukh was found to be unnecessarily prolonged. The Censor Board has asked for the sequence to be reduced by 50 per cent."

Along with the visual cuts, the Board has also asked the makers for six verbal cuts which includes swear words and abuses in English and Hindi.
