Camera man Amar Mehta discovers his acting streak!

Being in the field of media is not only exciting but inspiring too!

We have had many actors who shifted their 'media job' to being a finesse actor. A standing example is Nia Sharma, who graduated in Mass Media and Journalism but ended up portraying a variety of characters in a range of contemporary romantic drama to comedies to emotional shades on television.

We recently reported about newbie Falguni Sharma, a reporter of a leading website shifting her profession to acting (currently seen in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Bandhan) and now we have Amar Mehta joining the list!

Who is Amar Mehta?

Well, Amar is an editor and camera person of a website catering to entertainment news.

While interviewing actors behind the camera, the lad found his passion flowing into the stream of acting, being in front of the camera and projecting strong rational characters!

In conversation with Tellybuzz, Amar mentioned, "I started doing episodic shows like Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India - India Fights Back and CID and now I get offered cameo roles in continuity shows too. I recently wrapped up my shoot with 'Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman' where I essayed a pivotal role of in the Rakshas clan. I enjoy enacting negative shades on-screen."

Elaborating on his inclination to take up films, Amar quipped, "I got a couple of roles offered in leading Bollywood films but due to my priorities and other work commitments, I could not take up the offer. However, I look forward to developing a fine career into acting."
