BTS' Jimin And Jungkook officially discharged from military service a day prior; check first video

Jimin and Jungkook, members of BTS, have concluded their mandatory military service. The youngest members of the globally popular group were discharged on June 11, after completing their 18-month service at the Army’s 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province. They had enlisted together on December 12, 2023.

Following the recent discharge of Jimin and Jungkook, BTS fans are eagerly anticipating the full group's reunion. Their release from mandatory military service comes shortly after fellow members RM and V completed their duties. Meanwhile, SUGA, who is currently fulfilling his service as a public service worker due to a shoulder injury, is scheduled to finish on June 21. The anticipation for a complete BTS comeback is at an all-time high with these recent developments.

To celebrate the return of the members, HYBE, BTS's agency, sparked excitement by displaying the BTS and ARMY logos, along with the words “WE ARE BACK," on the exterior of their Yongsan headquarters in Seoul on June 9. This message signaled a fresh start for the band and was a touching moment for fans who have patiently awaited the group's return from hiatus.

To celebrate their 12th debut anniversary, BTS and BIGHIT MUSIC will host the ‘2025 BTS FESTA’ at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on June 13–14. The BTS FESTA is an annual event that honors the group's debut on June 13, 2013, featuring special events and fan interactions.

Yesterday, RM and V of BTS completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. The two, globally recognized singers, were seen in uniform at the Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. Fans from across the world gathered to welcome them back.
