"Both Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda are secure and good people," says Tahir Shabbir

Taher Shabbir, who was seen as Viraj in Nisha aur Uske Cousins recently made his entry into Bepannaah as Dr. Arshad. We got in touch with him regarding his role, the show and equation with co-actors Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget.

Asked about why did he opt for the character, he said, "Dr. Arshad is very interesting character. I always wait for the show which has unique concept and Bepannaah is one of the show on Indian television. Also for me my character is very fascinating, he is femini and loves women, very good guy and such role gravitate me."

After doing Nisha aur Uske Cousins, the actor did a Bollywood film and is now back to Television. To this, he said, "Bollywood is my home but acting is something for me where the medium doesn't matter. Also, I couldn't say not to such a beautiful role."

Before Taher, the role was offered to Vatsal Sheth, and on this, he said, "I have no idea about it. This role must have been offered to many actors and two or three people are good to play it. Among them, things work logistically if it happens."

Jennifer Winget is considered to be one such actress that many actors want to share screen space with and you are finally doing it, "Ironically, I don't know many of the TV actors. I have heard about Jennifer through Aneri. I have heard a lot about her and I have also seen one or two episodes of Behyadh. I knew she is Television royalty and for me, if the part excites me, I have to do it. Not only Jennifer, but Harshad too, they both are secure and very good people. They have taught me things as they are my senior. I learn a lot from people who do well. It is so much fun to work here and till the time I am here, it is definitely going to be fun. And if Jennifer and I if get an opportunity to work in future, we will definitely do it."
