BMC slams B-town with Legal Notice!

According to reports in a leading daily, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday found mosquito breeding sites on Yash Raj studio premises.

"In 2012, after Yash Chopra died, we had inspected the studio premises and found mosquito breeding sites. On Wednesday, during a routine inspection, we once again found mosquito breeding sites and, hence, sent them a notice under section 381 B of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act, 1888, for not taking measures to prevent mosquito breeding," said Rajan Naringrekar, BMC's pesticide officer. He further added, "We found mosquito breeding sites at the residences of Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Jitendra Kapoor; notices has been served to them."

Apart from Yash Raj studio the officials as well inspected RK Studio in Chembur, B R Chopra's house in Juhu, Shri Adhikari brothers' office in Andheri, etc. and found the same breeding sites there too. Other celebrities whose houses were inspected include Amitabh Bachchan, Mahesh Bhatt and Sanjay Khan.
