Bipasha Basu hints at returning to the big screen after eight years

It's been eight years since the talented Bipasha Basu Singh Grover graced the big screen in the 2015 horror film "Alone," alongside her now-husband, Karan Singh Grover. A year later, they tied the knot, and together, they headlined the web show "Dangerous" in 2020. However, after that project, while Karan ventured into "Qubool Hai 2.0" in 2021, Bipasha took a step back from the limelight.

Now, as a mother, Bipasha is gearing up for a remarkable comeback. During an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, she dropped some tantalizing hints about her desire to return to the world of acting. 

She mentioned that her daughter has finally been pushing her out of the house and making her do events. She said, "I’ve pretty much been giving excuses, saying I need some more time before returning to work. But I do love to act."

For the unversed, Bipasha and Karan welcomed their daughter, Devi, in November last year, and the responsibilities of pregnancy and motherhood have understandably kept her busy.  She shared, "I’m going to get back to it very soon. I think my daughter’s going to allow me to do it. I’ve to still learn the balance between work and baby. I’m still in the process of learning that."

On the personal front, Bipasha's journey to motherhood had its share of challenges. She gave birth to her daughter seven years after her marriage and faced a tough period following the birth.
