Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer's shoot postponed until the end of this year

The Coronavirus pandemic has played spoilsport for multiple reasons and the entertainment industry too, has suffered. While films that were due for a release are now getting digital releases, shoots haven't resumed given the requirement for a huge crew along with outdoor shoot locations. And now, it looks like the shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been postponed due to similar reasons.

As per the latest reports, filmmaker Anees Bazmee now plans on resuming the shoot for the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer by the end of this year, instead of next month. The team has already shot certain portions in Lucknow and hence, Bazmee wishes to shoot the remaining scenes there too, in order to maintain continuity. 

With over 35 days of shoot left, he intends to shoot by the end of this year and early on in 2021, and hopes that the vaccine is ready by then. He also spoke about the team and crew and added how they were over 400 people at the Lucknow schedule and it is going to be difficult to shoot with one-third of the team given the number of people needed for camera, light, and other departments. While the filmmaker had revealed earlier that he wishes to finish the shoot in Lucknow in September, it looks like the set that has been built there will have to wait for a few more months.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role and released back in 2007. The movie included the likes of Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
