Bhandarkar's 'Fashion' sequel!

Now that Madhur Bhandarkar has filled the hole left by a pregnant Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Kareena for his upcoming flick Heroine, he seems to have already set his sights on his next project - the sequel to Fashion!

Now that Madhur Bhandarkar has filled the hole left by a pregnant Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Kareena for his upcoming flick Heroine, he seems to have already set his sights on his next project - the sequel to Fashion!

Following the rise and fall of model Priyanka Chopra in the darker side of the fashion world, the original Fashion released all the way back in 2008 and was declared a critical and commercial success, marking the debut of Bhandarkar's production house.

Now the filmmaker and UTV's head Ronnie Screwvala, both seem to be keen on getting the sequel out as well, though nothing has been revealed about the possible script.

With shoots of Heroine delayed from the original schedule of June to November, thanks to the then lead Aishwarya's pregnancy, the Fashion sequel is speculated to release in December 2012. But whether Priyanka will reprise her role or another actress will step up to take her spot, has not been yet decided.
