Bhagyashree on working with son Abhimanyu ahead

On one hand, we have seen more and more star children come up and make their debut on the big screen constantly but on the other hand, there have been a few anomalies as well. Technically, actor Abhimanyu Dassani is the son of actor Bhagyashree and he did make his film debut over two years ago.

But Bhagyashree has been relatively inactive on the acting circuit and didn't really have her 'contacts' come into play for Dasani's debut and even with his debut, Dassani chose the most unconventional film to do so and arrived with the film, Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota. Nevertheless, two years later, Dassani has multiple films in his kitty and Bhagyashree too was recently seen playing a plump role in the Kangana Ranaut starrer, Thalaivii.

She will now also be seen in Pooja Hegde and Prabhas starrer, Radhe Shyam soon. First she talked about Radhe Shyam in an interview with ETimes as she said, “It’s one of the first big releases of the next year. Prabhas is such a good actor and has such a huge fan following all over the country. What I play in his film is diametrically different from Thalaivi. The audience will see the other end of the spectrum as far as my performance as an actor is concerned. Thalaivi couldn’t reach theatres in Maharashtra and a few other parts of India which were shut then. Hopefully, Radhe Shyam will open everywhere. The producers are gearing up for that. By January 2022, life will hopefully be different and closer to the old normal.”

And when asked if she would be seen on-screen with her son in a movie or a digital show, she said, “The script should appeal to both of us and it should be something that he and I should like because of the characters offered to both of us. This has to come from a good script and a good director who wants us to work together for a reason. All I can say is that it is going to happen in the future for sure and both of us will wait for it. Abhimanyu and I will definitely work together.”

We are sure fans would love to see the mother-son duo on-screen soon.
