During the shooting of the iconic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, filmmaker Karan Johar recently shared an interesting anecdote about actor Shah Rukh Khan's advice to him. Taking to Instagram, Karan posted an old and unseen picture from the sets of the 1998 film. In the photo, Karan is seen holding a basketball and having a conversation with Shah Rukh.

In the caption, Karan revealed that he had little knowledge about basketball and mistakenly referred to it as a "goal." However, Shah Rukh intervened and advised Karan not to set foot on the basketball court. The playful revelation by Karan added a humorous touch to the nostalgic post.

Sharing the black and white picture, Karan wrote, "As if I knew anything about basketball... I kept calling it a 'goal' till bhai (brother) took over and told me never to set foot on the court!!! (see-no-evil monkey and laughing emoji)."

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, a musical romance film written and directed by Karan Johar, starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan, and Sana Saeed. The film also featured an ensemble cast including Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, Reema Lagoo, Archana Puran Singh, Himani Shivpuri, and Johnny Lever. Shah Rukh and Kajol's characters are seen playing basketball during their college days, which became an iconic element of the movie.

Recently, Karan Johar wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a family drama featuring Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. This film marks Karan's return as a director since his last film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. The highly anticipated Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is scheduled for release on July 28.
