Imagine really needs to stop doing shows w/ special themes, since they rarely materialize. Jyoti was about a girl who set aside marriage to look after her family, but that was sabotaged to become a saas-bahu show. PKCM was supposed to be a family show of endearment, but became a torture. GkD was going on well until they twisted & killed it. BAVD started off fine, but quickly degenerated into yet another saas-bahu show. Haar Jeet started w/ the theme of exploiting underage kids, but is now a really insipid love triangle. Preeto is currently a pain to watch, DP - I never got what it was about.

BBGC - there was never any chemistry b/w Jai (either Anuj or Naman) and Sarika, but that wasn't the theme here - the theme was a girl interested in being a doc getting married into a misogynic family and having to balance that w/ her studies. They've done fine theme-wise, but if the TRPs are not there, the producers should quickly get to showing Sarika acing her exams, getting her MD and then spend the last 2 weeks starting a clinic in the name of her late brother. And on that note, end the show w/ Sarika & Taruna becoming docs, and Jai also getting a major post there. Also let Chandan start his own business and have Shikha help him there, instead of pulling Sarika's enemies from all sorts of places.
