The super talented singer and actor, Vikas Bhalla who was last seen playing the lead on the colors show Uttaran is roped in Bigg Boss 9- Double trouble. The Punjabi actor who loves to eat and do his riyaaz is all excited and elated about his new journey.

Wondering why Bigg Boss? "Two reasons actually. The first being, I want to be famous again! I had received a lot of love and fame when my album 'Dhuan' was released 18 years back. I want it back. Also, I wish to recreate independent music again and this platform is going to be a stepping stone. The second reason is my kids. I want to do this for them."

Speaking about his expectations from the show Vikas says, "I am looking forward to a lot of fun moments and a few exciting Dhamakas on the show! Also, I will get to know different people and get a slice of their lives. And Salman is going to be the cherry on the cake!"

Vikas was surprised when he was offered the show as he has never been a part of controversies. Yet speaking about dealing with controversies Vikas feels he would deal with them just the way he does in real life. The actor has earlier worked with Salman Khan and hence we wonder whether he has an advantage to which Vikas says, "I don't think so. Yes, I have known Salman for long and he is like my elder brother but it would be unfair to say that there would be an advantage. I have no advantage due to knowing Salman Khan! There have been contestants from previous seasons who didn't go too far despite of being in his good books. At the end, it's all about the votes. It's a pure game of merit and only the one who entertains the most, will win the show."

In an earlier interview Vikas had said that he wishes he could manipulate better. We wonder what the status is to which the actor says, "Not much. But I know that the format of the show is such, that you have to eventually nominate even your friends when the time comes for elimination. But I guess everyone knows it's a game and only one person can emerge as the winner."

My children, Veer and Sachi.

My coffee. I really REALLY need it!
