Badshah's Chandigarh bar rocked by two explosions

Badshah, the renowned Bollywood rapper and singer, grabbed attention today due to a dramatic event at his Chandigarh club. This Tuesday morning, November 26, two loud explosions shook the vicinity near De'orra Club in Sector 26, a venue owned by the artist.

In a surprising turn of events, two individuals riding a motorcycle threw a low-intensity explosive at De'orra Club, belonging to Badshah, in Chandigarh's upscale Sector 26 early Tuesday morning. The incident took place between 2:30 and 2:45 am, resulting in no casualties but causing damage.

The club's windows were shattered, and minor structural damage was observed. An adjacent establishment also experienced some harm from the explosion, according to India Today.

According to reports, authorities said, "A low intensity explosion took place outside De’orra which is near the Sevillee bar and lounge, which is owned by rapper Badshah in sector 26. Both the restaurants are 30 metres away from each other."

In the aftermath of the explosion, Chandigarh Police swiftly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to uncover the perpetrators. The bomb detection squad and experts from Chandigarh Forensic Science Laboratory were called in to collect samples for analysis.

Reports indicate that the explosive device may have been a homemade bomb, potentially connected to an extortion attempt. However, authorities have not officially classified it as a crude bomb attack. The investigation is ongoing to determine the precise cause of the incident.

The explosion near rapper Badshah's Sevillee Lounge in Chandigarh's Sector 26 has heightened security concerns, particularly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to the city on December 3.

Badshah recently voiced his support for Diljit Dosanjh amidst the controversy surrounding Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati tour in India. The Telangana government's notice against alcohol-themed songs at Dosanjh's events has sparked public debate.
